This deliciously vibrant zipper tape comes with 3 yards of durable #5 coil zipper and 9 coordinating pulls, giving you flexibility for multiple makes or larger bags. Easy to cut, easy to sew, and designed with Tula’s signature color punch—Taffy adds the perfect candy-bright accent to every handmade creation.

There is no need to worry about breaking a needle when you're using these zippers! Crafted for lasting durability, our premium Zippers by the Yard boast sturdy nylon teeth that ensure a professional finish without the worry of breaking needles, providing a reliable and resilient solution for your sewing projects. The wider zipper tape also helps with easy insertion into your projects. 

• Size: Coil with 1” wide tape, or #5 coil with 1-1/4” tape, by length of zipper purchased in 1 yard increments (without pulls) 
• Recommended Needle: A 80/12 universal needle is recommended, with a stitch length of 2.5mm for construction and 3-3.5mm for topstitching.
  
• Recommended Thread: 40 wt polyester thread
  
• Recommended Presser Foot:  A zipper foot or narrow foot is extremely helpful when sewing with this product. 
• Ironing: Use a medium to high setting while avoiding touching the coil for a long period of time; but also reference the recommended ironing settings for the fabric type the zipper is being attached to.

 Zippers ordered by the yard if ordering by the yard, the quantity you order will be the yardage you receive.  You will then have to purchase your pulls separately.  Coordinate the zipper tape color with your fabric and match the nylon coil color with your purse hardware!
